Choreographer Abby Zbikowski puts physicality at the heart of larger philosophical questions about the meaning and function of dance across cultures. Her new group work Radioactive Practice, performed on stage in the round, draws on a wide range of movement traditions, including street dance, contemporary African forms, and martial arts, to shatter assumptions of established dance forms and generate a penetrating vision of what it means to be alive today.
